My dear friend Suz and I are offering a virtual co-working container built around tackling whatever's on your plate: work tasks, creative projects, the thing you keep pushing to next week, whatever it is! And let the community support you in getting it done.

Turns out, we work better together. There's real science behind why a supportive group environment helps us finally do the things we have resistance to and keep putting off.

One of the most powerful elements of this program is body-doubling — showing up to do your own work alongside others who are equally focused and present. Even without speaking or interacting, simply being alongside others keeps us anchored and on task in a way that's hard to replicate alone. Just being in that shared space, even virtually, calms the nervous system and lowers the resistance that makes starting, making progress, staying focused, and following through so hard. When we feel safe, steady, and like we belong somewhere, it becomes much easier to concentrate, take chances, and actually see things through.

The structure:
2x a week on Zoom for 2 hours:
Mondays & Tuesdays, 9:30–11:30am PT / 12:30–2:30pm ET
6 weeks this Spring. We start Monday, April 27th! Running through Tuesday, June 2nd.
Three (optional) Sunday calls for more support around what you're working on on Sunday, May 3rd, Sunday May 17th and Sunday, May 31st.

You do not have to come on time or stay until the end! You can come whichever days work! This is for you! You can do as much or as little as you want. You can only use the co-working. You can come to just Mondays or Tuesdays and both. You don't have to join the sharing part; you can keep your camera off; you can come when it works for you.

Show up in whatever state you're in. The community is there to hold you.

We DO encourage community participation however, because that is what supports momentum and accountability is proven to work. BUT we fully encourage you to define what your needs are for yourself and how this group can support you in meeting them.

You can work on whatever! We’re working on our artwork and in and on our businesses. You may be working on your regular job, business or schoolwork, working towards that art show, finishing a project proposal, applying for a major grant, planning your spring garden, finally folding your laundry, something scary you’ve been avoiding doing like your taxes, opening the mail pile, paying that bill or starting your book!

You’re struggling with focus, prioritizing and follow through

You want support without it feeling like another obligation

You have projects piling up that need dedicated time and focus

You work independently and miss the energy of being around others

You thrive in community but need structure to actually use it

You want support around resistance to getting things you want and need done, done!

This is for you if...

6 weeks of actually getting things done, with the support to make it happen. We start April 27th!

  • 12 two-hour coworking sessions kicking off with quick introductions, a short breathwork exercise or meditation. After that, the calls are silent and devoted entirely to focused work. We’ll stop the calls 5 minutes before the end to do a quick check out.

  • Three weekend calls! With some light teaching on practices and tools to support your focus and follow through: somatic approaches to getting started, accountability frameworks, and resources to help you do your best work and move through any resistance.

  • Weekly intentions at the top of each session so you show up with purpose

  • A "win of the week" share to build momentum and celebrate progress

  • An optional buddy system for accountability between sessions

  • A shared resource library (think tools, apps, articles, books, podcasts, and contacts/resources the group recommends)

As a certified Master Facilitator of Intuitive Painting for Liberation, Anti-Oppression Reiki practitioner, certified hypnotist, immersion and installation artist, painter, crafter, public speaker and creative explorer, all of Amy’s art making is rooted in the therapeutic practice of creative expression as an embodied Liberation practice. Amy finds sanctuary in the exploration of her creativity, in the healing that happens from creating and playing, and in sharing with others the Liberation available through creative expression. Her work and teaching is rooted more in the therapeutic benefits of authentic presence and full emotional expression than in any specific style or desired outcome.

In 2019 Amy founded her business Sacred Paintbrush Arts where she brings over two decades of experience as a community leader and mentor to her work offering 1:1 Creative Abolition mentorship, Creative Flow Reiki healing, and creating embodied liberation classes and workshops that center folks from marginalized identities to use creative expression to heal and unlearn internalized oppression. Amy is the founder of Sacred Paintbrush Arts and co-founder of the Defying Gravity Cohort for Black Women, Harnessing Chaos for Liberation Immersion Program, Love & Rage healing groups, and Sober Ceremony Retreat to access altered states through art. She has created activation spaces at the Black Joy Parade, Black Womxn Healing Exhibition, Agency Oakland, and Rites of Passage 20/20 Vision, and has been featured on numerous podcasts that explore the relationship between art and healing.

Suzannah Snell (she goes by Suz) has spent her career at the intersection of creativity, community, and getting things made. She's the co-founder and creative director of Color Punch, an established Bay Area creative studio, a certified Master Facilitator of intuitive painting, and a practicing and exhibiting painter and artist.

While studying design in art school, she began painting large scale murals and installations at major music festivals. That work led her into the music industry as a creative director for a major concert promoter. She believes artists must take risks in order to evolve, so in 2016 she founded Color Punch and has made a life as a creative entrepreneur ever since.

She believes deeply in the power of art to transform and heal, and brings that same spirit to everything she holds space for, whether that's expressive arts, focused work sessions, or being present with her friends, family, and communities as they move toward their best lives. She holds people with a wide open heart and deep compassion, and welcomes laughter and lightness whenever it shows up.

Next up for Suz: working towards yoga teacher training, continuing to exhibit her paintings and artwork, and immersing herself in her local artist communities in the Bay and all around.
